Looked for Michaels and Critchfield in the Pennsylvania and Maryland papers.
Found Jesse Critchfield obituary in the Baltimore Sun, 15 March 1917, an article about the Maryland Legislature that mentions Jesse, 2 Jan 1900 and the wedding announcement of Charles Elmer Critchfield, Jesse's son, 5 May 1900.
No relevant Michaels found.
